Without a doubt when speaking of ice climbing in the midwest, the first area that comes to mind is Michigan. Nestled on the shores of Lake Superior, the Upper Peninsula offers some of the countries most outstanding ice climbing.

TUNE BUSTERS!

This winter, Down Wind Sports helped out with the kids climbing program sponsored by Northern Michigan University .  Meeting Saturday mornings, the kids partcipated in various aspects of bouldering and climbing.  The program will start back up January 16thl.  For more information call 906-227-2519 or 906-226-7112
