The Michigan Ice Fest does offer a guide service for those who are looking for an adventure before or after the Michigan Ice Fest.
Michigan Ice Fest Guides (MIFG) are the premier provider of guided Ice Climbing Courses and Private Guided programs at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and Grand Island. Climbing above a frozen Lake Superior in a remote location is an exhilarating experience providing a lifetime of memories.
Contrary to popular belief, you do not need to have tremendous upper body strength to be able to climb ice. The skill requires balance and efficient technique which our guides will provide during our informative ice climbing courses.
The MIFG offer a wide range of guided trips to suit the needs of our clientele. From the classic front country climbing to the wild backcountry ice routes, there are ample opportunities of beautiful climbs to test your ability and experience the Upper Peninsula winter wilderness. Course locations will be determined the day of your guided climb and will be determined based on weather and ice conditions.
Loved your experience with us in the winter and want to see what the rock climbing is like in the warmer months? We offer summer rock climbing adventures as well! Head on over to either our Ice or Rock Climbing Guide service pages to book your next adventure!
