NEW for 2022! In an effort to shorten our demo check out lines- we will have two separate demo facilities where participants who are taking classes will check out from the Michigan Ice Fest room and all others will check out from the Vendor Demo Room. All people looking to demo gear can now check out gear starting at 7am!
Demo fees are $65.00 (if you do not pre register the fee will be $85.00 at the door) A credit card will be required to check out equipment!
The demo area at The Curtains is a great time to try out the latest gear from some of the leading manufacturers in the industry. You will also have the opportunity to learn from some of the world’s best climbers as they will be on-hand to provide tips and advice.
Although there will be helmets and harnesses to use, if you have your own, bring them if you want to avoid having to wait. You will be responsible for finding someone to belay you.
Gear for Classes
If you sign up for a class you will receive demo gear for the day of your class only. If you intend to use demo gear the rest of the weekend you will need to pay the $65 demo fee.
There will be a protected area roped off. We ask that climbers and belayers be in this area only.
Helmets must be worn while climbing or belaying in the roped off area!!!
