For Jeff Witt, the best thing about climbing is when he has the opportunity to share it with others. “Whether it is through the experience of climbing a mountain, sliding down a rope into free space, kicking a step into a steep snow slope, swinging an axe into ice, or skiing through boot-top powder with a beautiful valley laying at your feet, it is the smile that my guest is wearing that makes it all worth while,” he says.
Having climbed and guided for 15 years, Jeff has done some impressive ski descents, including Mont Blanc’s North Face, the North Face of the Tour Noire, as well as some impressive climbing ascents, such as climbing the Mount Everest via the South Col, the renowned Eiger North Face, the Southwest Pillar of Fitzroy, the Denali’s Cassin Ridge, and dozens more. Jeff received his IFMGA license in 2016, and looks forward to expanding his guiding repertoire in the Alps and Canadian Rockies. Jeff is also an avid adventure motorcyclist, having ridden his motorcycle as far north as Prudhoe Bay and as far south as the Panama Canal. He personal goals include completing the seven summits (only three to go!), and circumnavigating the globe by motorcycle.
Jeff enjoys every opportunity to share his passion for climbing and is looking forward leading clinics for Adidas and swinging tools into some Michigan Ice!
