Here at Down Wind Sports we firmly believe in the concept of “Try Before You Buy”. Our rental program provides the perfect opportunity to try out a particular piece of equipment or activity. Remember, your rental fees can be applied to the purchase of any new equipment.

Here at the Houghton Down Wind Sports we understand that a new alpine or telemark package is quite an investment and we would like to help you feel good about spending the money on that new setup. So, in an effort to help you feel a little better about plunking down your hard-earned dollars we will have some of our most popular skis available for rent. Over the last few years ski designs have changed drastically and now you not only have to consider waist width and flex, but you need to be thinking about things like camber, rocker, early rise, tip profile, taper, etc… Stop by sometime as we love to talk about skis, and if something sounds cool we’ll set you up so you can test it out. If you do decide to pull the trigger and pick up some new boards we will refund the money you spent trying skis out.

Demo Fee:

$40/Day – skis are due back by the end of business on the following day - Includes skis and bindings
