Our guided rock climbing trips are a great way to experience the amazing summer in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Trip Options:
Top Rope Anchor Course
One of the essentials of safe climbing is the ability to create and/or identify safe anchors. This course will give you hands on instruction on how to build a solid top rope anchor. The course is designed to give you knowledge and background information and to give you actual anchor building experience under the watchful eye of our instructor. Through the course of the day, you will have the opportunity to build anchors, and have your anchors critiqued. By the end of the day you should have the confidence to set up your own anchors in just about any situation.

Private Guiding Costs
Never been rock climbing and want a day of adventure in the U.P.? Have lots of climbing experience but don’t know where to go? Fall somewhere in between? This trip is for you. Our guides will work with you to craft the perfect experience with plenty of options for any skill level.

Locations:
We offer climbing trips across the Upper Peninsula’s based out of our Down Wind Sports locations in Munising, Marquette and Houghton. Most of the rock climbing is found in the Marquette and Houghton areas but there are plenty of climbs easily accessed from Munising.
