Tyler grew up in northern Wisconsin near Superior Wisconsin and went to college at Northern Michigan University. Immediately following college Tyler took a season off from rock guiding to thru hike the 2,650 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail. Tyler is starting his third winter with Michigan Ice Fest Guides and could not be more excited to keep chasing the UP ice. Tyler’s rock seasons have consisted of working for Acadia Mountain Guides Climbing School in 2021 and Devils Lake Climbing guides in 2023.
Tyler is based out of Chicago in the non winter months exploring all the hidden climbing gems the midwest has to offer!
